About Us

Erin Ducharme, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist serving Iowans in Greater Des Moines and surrounding areas from her Clive clinic. Prior to opening her clinic in 2018, Dr. Ducharme served as Chief Dermatologist at the VA in Des Moines where she was honored to serve our nations veterans. Before her time at the VA, she set up and ran the Dermatology practice at the Iowa Clinic in West Des Moines. She completed her medical school training at Columbia University in New York. After medical school, she did her internship at New York University and then her dermatology residency at Texas A&M in Temple, TX. During her residency, she received extensive surgical training under the watch of one of the founders of the American Society for Mohs Surgery. She is currently Vice President and President-Elect of the Iowa Dermatological Society. Since 2019, she has served as a board member on the American Society for Mohs Surgery. Originally from southern Iowa, Dr. Ducharme is happy to be back in Iowa to practice medicine. Her professional interests include surgical dermatology and teaching residents and medical students. She lives in Clive with her husband and five children.

Amy Eschweiler, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant, accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) with 20+ years of experience in dermatology.

A Northeast Iowa native, Amy completed her undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa. She then earned her advanced degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University in 1999.

Amy remains actively engaged in professional development, regularly attending conferences and seminars to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field. This commitment to ongoing education allows her to integrate the most current evidence-based practices into her patient care.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking and biking.

Anastasia has been a physician assistant practicing medicine since 2017. She graduated from Des Moines University. She is an advanced injector and aesthetic educator for AMET and trains other medical professionals in Botox/filler. Her expertise is with Botox, Dysport, Dermal Fillers (Juvederm and Restylane), Sculptra, Kybella (chin fat reduction), PRP microneedling andPRP hair rejuvenation.  

She loves integrating her knowledge of anatomy and medical science with her artistic talent to provide natural results and make people look and feel their best! Her favorite treatments include cheek filler, full face rejuvenation with filler or Sculptra and lip filler. These treatments provide a hydrated and refreshed appearance and help with facial balancing. She is very gentle and will make you feel comfortable and at ease during any of these procedures.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new restaurants ,creating art, traveling & staying active.

Madi has been a licensed aesthetician since 2020, after graduating from The University of Iowa and PCI Academy. She has been with the Ducharme’s for over 4 years, starting with us as a receptionist at Ducharme Dermatology. Madi specializes in comprehensive cosmetic consultations and advanced facials, using her experience and expertise to give each patient a customized skin regimen/treatment plan. She enjoys seeing patients’ confidence heighten when they see their results! In her free time, Madi enjoys going on walks with her dog, Poppy and cheering on the Hawks, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.

A Dubuque native, Nicole moved to Waukee and joined Ducharme Dermatology in 2021. She has a combined passion for skin care and helping others look and feel beautiful.

Nicole graduated from Capri College in Waterloo in 2018. At the time of graduating from the esthetics program, there wasn’t a lot of opportunity around the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area so she worked as a consumer lender at a credit union. Her passion remained in aesthetics so her and her husband decided to make the move a couple of years ago for more opportunities.

She offers a wide variety of services and treatments such as: relaxing facials all the way up to medical grade facials such as RF microneedling, body contouring treatments, waxing and customized consultations. She will make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and give you a true spa pampering experience all while achieving results that will make you look and feel great!

In her free time, Nicole enjoys shopping, traveling and going on walks with her husky, Bane!
